Looks nice pal... wish I could get the scratches out of mine. Not got a clue where to start though!!
What tyres do you have on there out of interest?

Looks great, very nice shine.
My poor car came from Port Talbot so the paint was PANTS covered in steel oxides as the previous owners live a few hundred yards from the steel works! Even the glass was rusty SERIOUSLY! I spent a whole day with the Auto Glym and got a resonable result, but I have now bought clay bar to seriously get that oxide off. Sadly no BEFORE pic but it was matt finish.!!
QUESTION for AcidicDavey.....WHAT is a DA I keep hearing about? I have a huge mains lambswool buffer which is pretty good - and what is Poor Boys Black Hole. You motor looks awesome mate the old Nautic buffs up well as my C70 is Nautic as well.
I have spent a lot more time on the C70 and it came from a clean place in the countryside so shes pretty easy to clay bar.

For oxides you will be far better off buying a suitable remover such as Iron-X (one of many such products). Spray it on, leave it for a few minutes as it turns purple and makes a massive stink, then go "ooooooo" when you see how much contamination was on the paint! Rinse it off and then wash normally and move on to clay.

Looks nice and tidy, have you mopped previously? And now polish etc
Looking lovely T5A
As Mike says, DA is a Dual Action Polisher, a safe and easy way of applying all those concoctions out there. About £100 or so for a new one plus polishing pads.
Poor Boy's Black Hole is a glaze for darker colours. A glaze serves no purpose other than to make the paint look shinier, doesn't 'restore' paint in any way, just enhances the shine. Available here...
Cheers Steve. Back in April I thoroughly polished the car with the DA and a 3 stage polishing system, nothing aggressive and it was my first time with the DA and it could do with another go. TBH on close inspection the paint needs a lot of work but atm I cba lol

No just LOADS of work with Auto Glym sweating my nuts off on one of the hottest days this century! The Cab is silky smooth but the brick needs that IRON-X mentioned earlier as close up the lacquer has like rainbow marks from the steel particles. Just after I parked it up when I got her home - some local chav KEYED it for me so I need a paint match up too for both the cars. It seems in my road every time anyone gets a new car this MUPPET gets the key out {angry}. So may go for a blow over if the paint is too far gone. The windscreen is also a mess I will post a pic later (its RUSTY!) and HAD A BULLET HOLE so thinking of just getting Autoglass out for a new window?
Ahhhh I think in that case I HAVE a DA I bought a Goodyear lambswool buffer so maybe thats it I need to have a look
thanks for all the tips
now that pesky sun has finally done one I can get the clay bar out! The water helps and doesnt turn it into the pottery scene from GHOST on me bonnet!
