P1 V70 rear washer help please.

When I first bought my R the hose near the bottle was disconnected, and under the boot floor. Sorted those and then when I bought her back in April, the hose was disconnected behind the speaker in the rear most pillar. Now I have an issue again which is bugging me. I have got a replacement nozzle but I'm wondering if the issue is that valve as it still isn't working, and back pressure is causing the hoses to come apart where there are joins.

I replaced the valve with a used one but screenwash is blasting out of the valve into the surrounding area, but could I have the valve the wrong way round? I have ordered a new one off the bay but need to make sure that I have it the right way round.

    Advice appreciated...........

Can't really help other than say at least yours does that, mine takes about 10 mins of me holding the button and then it'll trickle out. Think I need to get a new pump

When/if I sort mine then I will let you know, as your's could be the same issue.

The other thing that bugs me is that the wiper only contacts part of the screen. Is your's the same?

If that's happening I'm guessing the spring in the wiper arm is weak? Have got the original metal arm still?

Not sure tbh. Sort the washer first, and I'll look at the wiper itself as well.

Right, after trying the new valve both ways round, it's clear which is the right way. The job is sorted and the valve was from Parts Monster on the bay for a few pounds.
