    V70 R problem :(

    Any ideas? My R has developed a heavy wine when it goes round a tight bend or roundabout, feels through the wheel, ??? I'm just out with the car for a meal and will imvestergate in morning but would still like some ideas please

    sounds like your very low on power steering fluid mate, checked it lately? my one is losing fluid whilst its parked up which is a new one on me

    Front wheel bearing could be one of your best options when you turn more pressure goes on it

    Or could be a CV joint,these cars do like there wheel bearings aswell

    ok just had a look at the R this morning and power steering is full and no leaks, so took her out for a drive and did some hard cornering and brake tests, and full left and right lock turns..... and nothing? mmmmm no noise at all

    Was the missis in the car?

    I get a horrible whining noise in mine til the wife gets out
    19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...

    Ok the noise has returned, but have narrowed it down to the front and only seems to happen when cornering right, at speed but when going slow no noise? And it sounds like a binding noise

    have you jacked it up to check for play in the bearings
    s60 2.4 t5 eibach springs,up rated rear anti roll bar, poly bushed wishbones, poly lower engine mount, fmic, bmc air filter, 3" decat, 2.5" stainless exhaust,hlm remap 328bhp,

    brake backing plate - check it isnt too close to the disc.
