Exhaust Change for my S60 D5

Now my VW Bora has gone I want to play with my S60. What would be the best thing to do with the exhaust. On my Bora which also was diesel I had it de-cat and a complete system put on and it didnot sound like a diesel anymore. On the S60 I want it a bit more subtle in noise. I have a stage 2 Rica re-map on the car . Peter

Last year I had a custom exhaust made for my D5 and I'm still very happy with it.

Its better than standard but not as loud as my Bora one which had only one box. I looked on forums and saw that most people had two boxes as one was too noisey. The new 75mm front pipe from turbo makes the turbo spoil better and as the car has only done 53,000 miles it should only get better. Peter

I know someone with a D5 who has removed the top halve of the air box and fitted a cone filter, the soundproofing under the bonnet has also been removed. Not sure how happy he is with it or the make of filter, but hey....I least this raises my post count by 1 !!
