Try drilling a 1mm hole in his shunt like I have , so far no issues despite what some internet stuff says. The ECM is nice and cool with no overheat issues etc.IF you need a shunt, I have a spare lurking somewhere in my "bits" box.

we've already tried that on his but ended up with no lights working at all, he's gone back to normal halogens

They look bright enough but you gotta decide if they're practicle for the application. No point hanging on with them if they really don't serve the purpose. How come they have to build to full brightness? Father in laws lexus comes on immediately, as does Wobbly's (although one of Wobbly's blew a ballast when I saw them).

BT looks like it's backing away from the light like a startled cat... and with that wheelie-bin there I'm not surprised pmsl

i've only ever used £30 HID kits from fleabay & all take a while to build up to full brightness (dipped not as bad as the mains thinking about it tho). Tried using them on the road, by the time they'd built upto full brightness a car comes the other way so had to turn them off again lol. I'm on nights soon so see how it goes then

luckily Mary Bales not around lol. I think quite alot of BT's original bits have already ended up in that bin lol

no updates since March, just how it should be with a daily driver. Anyway with the cheapo headunit playing up I bought a second-hand Kenwood, the fasica almost cost as much as the radio lol. Almost treated her to some new rear tyres, they were a bit slick lol

I'm not adverse to vehicle maintenance in a carpark you know lol (it's a tradition at the Vine).

You bring the oil and filter and I'll do it, just to say I've done it lol.
I'll do the mixer pipe while I'm there, I've got the hang of that recently too lol.

There's a very good chance that, by the end of the year, my wife's (when it works) car will humilliate your wife's car
