lol, well to be fair credit where credit is due, the paint finish was flawless from where I was looking to say that it hadn't been anywhere near a professional bodyshop too!

Now were talking! That would look brilliant, will give the same split look that the Sapphire Cossie and 854R saloon boot spoilers have.

The exact same reason my Orion ended up with a Sapphire Cosworth spoiler instead of the RS accessory item that I previously fitted

Which was a look my brother adopted on his beforehand...

Thanks Paul, in many ways I really do miss mine at times. The Volvo is far superior in almost every way but they, Ford's, can be quite underated when you consider what they can do if cared for correctly.
The red one, James's, did 200,000 miles on it's original engine and it's only been stopped from doing anymore due tin worm affecting it's structure, it still performed well up to the last day and it used no oil or water, just shows what benefits come from 3,000 mile oil changes from the day it was registered
The white one, mine, was in fairness bodily almost all original bar the n/s/f wing, due to a clumsy neighbour, and RS turbo bonnet. She was severly pampered though to be honest and being my first car will always be special to me.. Despite the fact I spent more than a reasonable house deposit modifying it...

I know that feeling, I still miss my XR4x4which had a 24v Cosworth V6 in her, plus a full cossie interior and the RSAP kit, it turned a lot of heads.

But, as you said, the 850 is a car above it! Mine's a '95, and only has one small scab on the bootlid, I had replaced all the arches on the Sierra

Very impressed with that rear spoiler. I also would like to see photos of the build.
