Last chance to save the holiday :(

now TOTALLY had enough of wasting money on the heap V70 I bought I am putting all my effort into my very reliable C70 - all shes let me down on is the front brakes.

I have been struggling to work on the cars as Ive just had an operation on both hands which WRECKS an engineers chance of repairing anything. Now they are working a little now so trying to get ONE car ready for our holiday to Devon on Thursday. I DONT want to see that V70 again for a long time so its being towed to a yard where it can sit until im ready to sort its nonsense out so today I have made a huge effort to get my lovely cab fettled as she is a RELIABLE older car.

Due to the hands I made a mediocre attempt to fix the sticking right front brake a week ago (working only with huge doses of painkillers) all to no avail - Im annoyed with myself as Ive lost my temper with A CAR! rushing to try to get a family hack ready which miserably failed.

top right the RIGHT piston was virtually seized solid into the caliper and took TWO HOURS to remove with 5 gallons of WD40 AND 'COAXING'
the other 2 are the refurbed units all new seals the works

SO tomorrow even if its peeing down I will work under a tarp to refit and try to bleed on my own then over the road for the MOT if it fails then........

well I'll leave the club the cars in my will and the other half will leave me
