Focus ST 4 Pot Brembo Brake Kit

    Gents...

Saw this on ebay : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2216595804...MakeTrack=true

Not sure if they would fit on an 850? The hub looks similar, price is good, 336mm brakes could be bought too from XC90?

Does anyone know if these would fit?

I don't think they will fit, the standard ST calipers aren't a direct fit so the adaptors supplied with those brembos won't fit our cars.

Or am I speaking outta my arse...?

Haha, no idea mate thats why I asked.

I have a set of near identical Jag Brembo's... this whole brake thing is a mnd feck. I know most of the time 302's suffice but they look nice.

Essentially, it's a direct replacement for the P2 336 XC90 kit I have on mine. To make it fit a P1, you'll need custom brackets made up. Yes, they're supposed to fit under volans but it'll be the brackets that cause problems.
Edit - if you're prepared to go down this route, why not save yourself a fortune and make the XC90 kit fit? There's a few people who have felt the stopping power of this kit on my 1.6 ton P2, they'll agree that a 1400Kg 850 will stop on a bloody sixpence with that kit.

Quite simply put Martin I like the bling! The 4 Pot kit just looks the part and if Im going to go beyond the 302 set-up and spend money I'd like it to look the nuts too. Silly I know but...

It shouldn't be much of a job to make a couple of brackets up imo, especially if you have the brackets in the kit as a guide.

I wanna soon go for Alfra Romeo 159/brera calipers(OE: 20841701) along with listed above adapters just need to find exactly calipers from 330mm discs.
I found a pair of calipers for 230delivered and brackets with bolts are like 87-90quid and new xc90 discs 336mm 90quid. If You like to we could made a group buy but as i can see those calipers are cheap but hard to find them

You would need these as well.

I've fitted xc90 336 discs and calipers to an 850 and it takes some lateral thinking it's not straight forward at all.

Both the caliper hanger and new brackets need making / machining

But I can't remember now how many times I've said it's a pain / not viable, just buy radial mount calipers

I've got 350 x 34 on 4 pots under Volans, that's tight and I'll take a bit off the disc when I can be bothered, iirc discs are 16kg each to give you an idea of size
