Cheers fella oh yes forgot to say had the first wash since February..! My only excuse is it only get done when I have time to do it properly rather than a rush job just for shows!!

Another thing I forgot to say - finally thought up a name for the car - the Pork-Chop Express

A couple of small jobs...antenna down switch...

And a USB thing for the radio. Credence Clearwater on LOUD at the time of the photo

One of the above two jobs caused must have buggered something up as next time I tried to start it I got lights & no sound!! Nothing - no fuel pump priming, no starter solenoid clicking......just the sproing of the passenger door lock. According to the bairn the black shark did this 'sproing' also.

SO after considering the problem over some cheese on toast - I went back to it and pulled all the fuses & relays in the fuse box, re-connected the boost gauge light supply & re-positioned the manual fan switch (now hidden behind above pedals)....& tried again...click, click aaand it started

Don;t know yet mate I haven't driven it in the dark yet been using the Renault

I did use the new lights once - flashed someone out of the way in the outside lane, lit up the arse end of his car nicely so good enough! Doubt they will be as good as HIDs but they should be better than standard.

Nah. The shape is ok, but the bore is far too small. Must be from a N/A car.

Gonna use it as a template and either get one made up, or buy the bits and knock one together myself.

    Aye, not to worry Fella.

Like I say, the shape seems good.
That daft little middle silencer isn't there on the Turbo, they only seem to run the one massive back box.
Christ, my 2.0 480 has two boxes on the centre pipe and the ginormous back box too!
    No need.

TBF, the standard 460T exhaust is a good size at around 54mm, not bad for a little 1.7.
Think it's all the bends that will be killing it though. There's three at 90° and two at 45°, and that's only after the cat. You could add another two 90°s if you counted the DP.

Gonna go for 2.5" straight through, Methinks.
Bin the cat and do the DP also

A couple of small jobs - replaced the whites with a set of blue injectors (thanks Hemi Huskey/MRP) and took out the pollen filter & threw it as far away as possible....not very far as it was windy...

    Still 3 bar so remaining at 350 cc/min. Part number number 0 280 155 830.

What's the plan replacing the injectors?

To the best of my knowledge blues and whites flow exactly the same.
