Will 2009 v70r 18s cratus alloys fit my v70r estate 1998? These alloys have got 245/40/18 tyres?

They'll bolt straight on, but you will get issues with rubbing.

I had some Nebs on my 98 R, and couldn't even move the car cos the rear wheel archs were that full. The wheels/tyres you mention are wider, so I'd have thought no chance, without mods.

P2 wheels have the same centre bore as the P1, I think it's only the later S40/C30 that have the Ford centre bore.

These wheels are off a P3 which has the 63.4mm bore (or whatever it is) and will need enlarging to 65.1mm.

Cratus wheels are p3 and will indeed need machining.
