thats the one im getting next. But if I was you I would contact pb and ask them, they won't rip you off and tell you go for that one I just said, they may even recommend a £20 wax. Things have changed so much with detailing over the years and products keep getting better. My real experience of final coats came from my black C70 so my products won't give you the best results possible for the saffy even though that's what I use on the saffy but its only because it's to expensive to throw away.
    Thanks

We've got some of this, and in my experience makes a mess of textured black trim, good otherwise though.

Zymol cleaner wax is really good. I bought it from halfrauds about 5 years ago, when I first got interested in detailing. It's made with almonds, bananas, and various nice smelling things (doesn't taste very nice tho).
I found it to be a good base after claybarring.

I wonder how it compares to Meguires. I use the Ultimate Quick Detailer between waxes to 'top up' the finish.

well I have the full meguires range here and I have never had the car looking this good. and not to get caught up in a big debate this stuff is only 12 quid not 60 quid plus like some have banged on about am sure you can spend silly money on products like I have in the past but this is a good product for little cash.

I have to say I've been very impressed with Bilt Hamber Auto Balm as a gloss enhancer and protection after polish on dark colour cars. I'll be giving the Volvo it's first proper going over by hand later this week if weather allows. Every Turtle Wax product I've tried thus far has been rubbish but never given this a go...

tbf i like trying alsorts of polishes, wax's etc and some of the cheap ones can do a decent job, Just because summit costs £££s doesnt always means it produces the best results. Also as mentioned preperation is the key to a sucessful finish/result.

It can aso be down to the person who carries out the work to. even a Expensive polish wont nesserally gaurentee you a good finish if you are carless or rush it, imho anyway.
We all have different views and steps we follow to achieve the final result, someones elses method shouldnt nessercaly be dismissed if its dfferent to what elses is,

What works for someone may not work for the next person. You can certainly learn alot from taking to people who have concours vehicles at shows.

I agree turtle wax is not what I normally use at all but this is a very good one.

Tell me about it, the previous owner took my car (before I owned it) to the local Romanian car wash and they managed to get wax all on the trim and left wax in the corners. What amazed me is how the guy though they'd done a good job - I was horrified!

The wax stains are still there even now, in some spots.
