    C70 Front strut brace

    Hi

    just come across this and wondered if anyone has/had one and if they are any good compared to OEM one available in this country

    i have never heard of OBX, and was wondering on your views on them (if any at all)

    the OBX strut brace won't fit, its for LHD's. Genuine Volvo one's are only £50-60

    i just figured that out when i was changing a bulb under the bonnet

    no problem, the OBX exhaust is also designed for a LHD but people have got them to fit with the help of a big hammer as i think its only the shield for the steering rack that gets in the way slightly

    Don't see the point given that the Volvo one is cheap, well known & works.

    I thought it was because the master cylinder moved over, not the heatshield.

    the master cylinder is in the way for the OBX strutbrace which is the first link, but sure its the heatshield or steering rack thats gets in the way of the OBX exhaust which is his second link

    Steering rack fouls, as you said put a nice dent in it and it clears lol

    Does a genuine Volvo one clear the Main Fuse box for these cars as the ScanTech copy I have makes it almost impossible to access those fuses without taking the brace off.

    Yeah it's wonky crap and the bar is a different finish to the mounting plates lol
