    oil pressure switch went on it so wasn't gonna drive to work

    bonus of own truck parked at home

    mine has front but guy selling wouldnt just sell back ones so now have set of fronts spare to sell

    I've never seen rear mud guards on a C70, didn't know they were available tbh

    fitted the new 55w 8000k hid bulbs today
    just gotta order yet another cv boot kit as other went on way home from work but nice set of do88 hoses waiting for me when i did get in

    starting to loose the plot again
    oil pressure switch changed and oil light keeps flashing on and off
    oil level spot on no leaks so what the actual f@$£

    Sounds like might be pump. Have you got correct grade oil. Too thin may cause light to flicker a bit with slightly worn pump. I hope it's something silly. Checked the wiring from switch? Not rubbed through anywhere has it.

    The other suggestion given to me by Oblark when I had the same problem on the cabbie was the pressure relief valve sticking.

    The "O" rings in the sump can cause this problem, pull the dip stick with engine running if it's covered with tiny bubbles it worth looking at,does this happen when the oil is only hot or when it's cool ?.

    checked wiring all fine
    could be that im running fully synth 5w30 but thats what the interweb said to use and my main stealer

    It's basically a sprung loaded ball bearing on the outlet of the oil pump, they can stick, and stop oil flow.
