Red face I know its not a Volvo lol

As some of you know I drive an Audi and a Bmw now but did use to have an 850 t5r then a c70 t5 and I always liked to keep my cars in tip top condition so here is a little update on my current little toy.

It was a long week waiting for my toy to come back from the paint shop, but I picked her up at 7pm Friday night. Got up very early this morning and spent the day pampering her
The body shop had resprayed the bonnet and front panel, the new tailgate I got which was a rust free one, both rear arches as both had just started to shows signs of bubbling and also my gt spoiler as over the years opening and closing the boot has caused cracks to appear in it and finally the rear panel above the rear bumper as it had a couple of scabs starting to appear on the surface.
I'm very impressed with the colour match, it's spot on.
As a preventative measure this morning I under sealed both rear wheel wells and behind the arch lips etc and also used spray under seal inside the tail gate again just as a preventative measure.
the new paint looks very very shiny obviously so after the under sealing I set about using my da polisher with a cutting pad and paste and went about all the panels with the old paint. After that I used the da again with a polishing pad and just some super resin polish. Tomorrow I'll give her a good waxing

Th car is finally getting up to the standard I had envisaged when I first bought her. Now its just the unimportant can be done any time jobs like re trimming the steering wheel and replacing the headlamps due to old age and wear and tear etc. In the mean time I'm just going to carry on and enjoy her.

Hope you like the results, in the flesh she looks really shiny and a deep red but in the pics they don't look as good.

Looking VERY good, you must be well pleased, and doesn't look at all like a 1998 car.

Lovely car mate, my first car I could afford to insure was an E36. Ok it was 316i Sport Compact, so all show and no go but still a quality little car.

I love the interiors on these, the black/grey alcantara with red leather, very nice!
