    Anti roll bar bushes

I had a look today and it seems I'll need some new anti roll bars bushes for my 98 V70 AWD soon at the front anyway.

Does anyone make poly bushes for my car?

I know IPD USA do an uprated kit but that's too rich for me at the moment.

Yes, they are attached to the bar and the outer metal casing is pressed together. Only the early 850's had the changeable arb bushes. You can take it off and butcher the casings to get the bushes out and modify the poly bushes to fit.

Someone I know has that ipd arb kit fitted and the ipd heavy duty drop links. The arb bushes didn't last long (knocking now) and the drop links wore out in no time. So beware, read some reviews and see what if anyone else has had a bad experience of them.

Thanks for the advice, apparently the anti-roll bars have a lifetime warranty. But yeah I've heard lots of people complaining about the drop links!

Problem is the arb is a pain to install/remove, not good if you have to do it more than once.

I purchased a set of 21mm poly bushings for my front bar. Haven't gotten around to installing them yet though.

The only problem with this is that you'll need to clamp something onto the bar to prevent it from walking side to side. The ipd bars have these limiters built in to the bar, and the factory vulcanized bushings prevent this too.

This problem alone is probably why I've been putting off the installation for so long. Perhaps a "21mm shaft collar" to clamp on to the bar will be of use, if you can find them!
