I volunteer myself as test pilot, if you wanna prove that pedro.... ;)
holy crap... thanks claymore... I'd be a crap bomb disposal geezer.... :(
Where's the brum-brum sound effects pedro? Come on man, get into the spirit of it.... (I wanna hear some screeches as well)
Wanna see a T5 bein driven hard fast and safely for 7 solid mins??
Watch my vid at silverstone... I overtook 21 cars and got over took twice... see how I catch and leave the cossie.... :D
...
The most he did wrong was skip a red light over the bridge and jump out early over a double white... (and the obvious but not measured speeding)
Lookin good D.... you gonna be starting her this weekend, by any chance? I'm local until Sunday evening if you want any morale support....
and you'll get to see the new V70 tdi I'm gettin on...
vinyls are in next year, you're one step ahead of the pack... :D
oh and double clip every joint with jubilee clips... trust me on this one, I really mean it, esp if you're gonna be running higher than standard boost... Mine poppd off regularly with single clamps...
I'll race ya pedro, you know I've always wanted to... *upps the remap to the top of the list*
the speedo on most cars is out by an mph or two, at least.... Mine was 6mph out at 70mph, with 215/45-17's on....(ie reading 70mph on the clocks, but doing 64mph gps)
I had 215/45-17's on the fridge mover, with no issues regarding rubbing/bodywork contact.... But I got my best 1/4 mile times with 16" columbas running 50 profile toyo proxes t1-s bald tyres at 23psi...
sweet... comin along then? you gonna get her done this decade at the rate you're goin ;)
holy crap.... all you had to do was ring Boldy... you know him, he'd have that off in a jiffy.... those Canley lads get beat by nowt mate...
My old 850 made a 13.9 @100.76mph....
It's the initial acceleration that gets the good time... terminal speed is "almost" irrelevant... hamish has hillclimbers that top out at under a ton, and...
a) yes
b) you get about 30% more air/fuel mixture flowing into the inlet manifold, so yeh, I suppose, if you want faster acceleration
c) buy the gasket from a volvo dealer for £2 ish, and with...
Mine's a 16T hybrid, so the same as a 19T but I like the "hybrid" bit... makes it sound more modded.... lmao
Mine made 321lb ft @16psi, at Hamish's last time, what's that in NM's?
*edit*
That's 435NM, and your 555NM was 409 lb ft :D
mr fandango is your friend when it comes to stripping a T5....
if it starts sagging, just put back the last bit you took out. I'll let you have a rip on my welder if you want, just get the ice rink out first.....
remap.... easy way to a bit more like "normal" power from a tdi, just the aformentioned short rev range to complain about, and yes, the more lubfoots, the better, you feel the torque push you into...
ummmm... the middle one?
Libra... if you do decide to sell, drop me a PM..... I know a man who's prepared to sell his legs for an S60R, I'm sure he'll be very intrested.....
It's ok guys, I've found the solution...

that's some torque from that wee little engine... well done that man, that's a superb result..... :)
