Guys and Gals,
I am going to Amsterdam and Germany this month and taking the Volvo with me. Since i've never driven a UK car before in Europe (only lease cars so far) is there anythin specific I need to be concerned about.
I have some questions if anyone can shed some light:
1. Do I need to get something for my headlights to prevent blinding people? If so, what is the cheapest solution I can get and where from.
2. I have a warning trianlge, anything else compulsary I have missed?
3. While my tyres do have ample tred, is there a limit that is different to the UK and is this higher?
4. Any other advice or tips people have

Bulb Set And I Think A Fire Extinguisher Get Some Things Called Metro Beam Benders Mate They Work Better Than The Black Tape As They Bend The Beam Rather Than Blocking It Out

you will need beam deflectors,full bulb replacement kit contact AA or RAC for full concise list.Let your insurers know of your plans

Seriously, watch out at your first T junction. If there's no traffic about, it's real easy to turn either left or right and end up on the wrong side of the road.

Done lots of Driving in Germany & France (lived in East Berlin for a year odd)
Never used Beam Deflectors Ever.! Do you think they use them when they come over here...? No.
The German Police dont really like pulling over Brit cars...To much paperwork
to fill in if you've been Naughty...LOL (Thats wot we found anyway!)
Get onto the AA or RAC sites, Loads on there about Driving Abroad.

They drive on the other side of the road? Shoot, not sure if I can do that :-)
Thanks all for the advice, going to go check out the RAC website now and see where I can order all of this kit.
