Hey everybody :) Sorry I haven't been around for a while (again), I have a new job working 7:30am - 4:00pm PST (so that would be ~4:30pm - 1:00am your time approximately, so that doesn't leave me a lot of time to talk to you guys. Sleep has me in bed as you guys wake up, it's horrible :(
Anyways, I just thought I would let you all know what's up with me, my life, my car, the usual stuff...
The new job: I work with a few Volvo friends at a machine shop, I handle the shipping/receiving for the shop, it's a busy/stressful job, but it pays more then my old job did, so it's alright.
My car: Oooh, lots of things have been going on with my car recently, and things are still changing. I have been getting a lot more parts for it to make it faster/look better, have spent a fair amount of money in the past month.. I have spent more money in the past month then I have on my car in the entire last year, scary???
Here is the parts list of what's on order:
-Stoptech brakes (332x32mm rotors, 4-pot calipers, stainless steel brake lines)
-18T Turbo
-3" Downpipe from EuroSport Tuning
-Custom tune for the turbo
-Innovate Wideband Controller (make sure I don't kill my car too soon :))
-VST front bumper
-Working on getting another set of Pegs so I can custom paint them to look just like the below (darker then the factory "Graphite" color that the Pegs were offered in):
Other things I have done to my car since I have last been here:
-VST style Carbon Fiber front lip spoiler
-Black Jewel headlights (HOVA)
-Tinted taillights (just the turn signals/reverse lights)
Here is what I want my car to look like when I get the wheels all painted (also, check out the tinted taillights, that wasn't photoshopped):
So, I think that about does it for me... If anyone has any questions/comments, feel free to ask :)
She drove it into a steep driveway, and then into a parking block, and then out of the same driveway :( And today I took the Pegs off of my car so I can sell them and buy new ones to have painted, at least something good has kinda happened today...
Sorry to bump an older thread, but I thought that you guys (and gals :P) might want to see how things are coming along. As of right now, parts are starting to show up. My new Pegs are here, need to get them powdercoated to give them the color I want though, and the 18T, not a whole lot I can do to that to make it any better, except install it! Unfortunately, that's not going to happen for a few weeks as my downpipe is still in the process of being made, but oh well.
I will tease you guys with more pictures as more things show up, next should be my Stoptech brakes, Innovate wideband, and Wothrline ECU :D
