Check out volvoclub.org.uk as there are more LPG users over there and there are a few fitters about... It's something I'm probably going to do in the near future since it looks like I'm stuck with my car for a while longer and mine is a RICA'd T5 :dunce: Can't go off discussions from too far in the past as a lot of things have changed for LPG. More and more stations are selling the stuff. There are more multi point systems available and more fitters are now sticking them on modified cars. It seems as long as you don't scrimp on the system you buy and go to a reputable fitter you shouldn't have any problems. Power loss of approx 5-10% with a loss in MPG of 3 or 4....acceptable though if LPG is only 40p per litre. At the moment the government can only add duty to it once every 3 years and the last time I think they actually reduced it. So it is future proof for a while longer. Prins and the OVLV Dream seem to be the best.... I saw a converted S8 now that was a beast! Shame it only does 8mpg on gas instead of 5 LOL

HI.I run a Transit 2.3 petrol with factory fitted lpg.The price has increased a lot in the last 6 months.I was paying 34pence a litre at Morrisons and it is now 43pence per litre. Most motorway services are charging about 47-49 pence. I find no difference in power between the two but find it is only doing about 12-14 miles per gallon on gas and 17mpg on petrol. Also the manifold is really rusty as the gas burns a lot hotter than the petrol.I do about 1000 miles per week and can fill it up 3 times a day on gas. I think that as lots of people have it they now have you over a barrel so charge what they want and its only going to get more expensive. Hope this is of some help. Ben.
