Due to a change in jobs I can no longer justify having two cars at home and despite my pleas for the wife to dive the T5, she wont, :frown: too big too fast, so I am selling both our cars and getting a compromise. I am offering first shout to someone on the Forum looking for a great car. This is my Volvo 850 T5. I bought this car last April for just over £3500.00. I decided to pay a bit extra for it because of its history, which is superb. I have a huge file of all the bills etc that have ever been spent on the car, it takes a good hour to go through the lot, I also have the original receipt for the car from new. It now has 123000 miles on the clock. It comes with a Full Volvo Main Dealers Service History up to 110000 miles and then was serviced at 120000 miles to Volvo’s spec sheet. I also had the brake pads changed all round, new plugs, distributor and rotor arm. It runs like a dream. The auto gearbox is smooth as silk. All the lights on the dash come on and go off, as they should. The turbo boost goes ¾ into the white, as it should. Air Con blows nice a cold in the summer. Inside the car is very clean, half leather with no marks. Comes with a boot liner, luggage cover, cargo nets and original Volvo plastic mats. Radio cassette, with code, heated front seats that work fine and electric sunroof. Outside the car is in good condition. It does have some small scratches and stone chips, the rear drivers side bumper corner had some paint missing, not to bad but if you wanted to make the car perfect it needs touching up. The T5 has the original alloys that are finished in a graphite silver which makes the car different from other T5 as does the front grill which is black so are the plastic trims and door handles. The front tyres were replaced 2000 mile ago so plenty of tread left. The rears will need replacing soon. I may if I get a chance put new ones on for you. The car is taxed till end of March and MOT’d till April. It should sail through its mot no problem. The only advisory note I had last time was that the front shocks were just beginning to “sweat”. The backs are Nivomats, which are fine. Both drop links have been replaced on the front and the rear set have had new top mounts. All of this plus everything else is in the service history. Someone is going to get a great T5 for £3000.00 or very close. PM me with your email for a file of pictures of the car. I have some more to take over the weekend of the inside so I may send you another file later. Thanks for looking and good luck. :) Mike.
