I am selling my excellent late '95(OBD11) 850 T5 saloon Auto. Car is bottle green, fitted with 17" T5r graphite alloys(titans i think there called) and genuine factory fit boot spoiler with LED brake light. I am the third careful owner, the first a retired company director, the second the lad i bought the car off, who can only be described as a fanatic about the car! The car has just turned 98,000 and is backed up by the most comprehensive full Volvo dealer service history you will ever see.The last service was the 110,000 service as the previous owner serviced it every 6,000 miles. I have a folder two inches thick of receipts for every thing ever spent on the car including the origanal sales invoice, PDI notes, even reciepts for bulbs all from Volvo. My main stealer couldnt believe the history on this car when it was last serviced. The car has full biscuit leather interior, electric heated seats, walnut dash,dual zone climate(recently re-gassed), cruise, all the usual T5 goodies. Body work is excellent, expect the usual stone chips for a 10 year old car, the only blemishes are a small scuff on the front bumper corner, and a small amount of cracked paint on the rear bunper corner. Unfortunately the front two alloys have some kerbing ala the missus! Have been quoted £40 a wheel by my local Chips Away dealer and also the front two tyres are low. Inside is excellent the drivers seat showing some age related 'cracking' of the leather but no rips or tears(probably some good leather balm will sort it). On the last service done just before christmas the dealer noted the rear brake pads were low and would need replacing sooner rather than later. There is a cd/mp3 player fitted(have the origanal double din stereo). Runs as sweet as a nut(this car is mechanically excellent), no smoking or whining from turbo or box, the only mod is an MBC fitted but this is not wound right up, the turbo gauge still only goes 3/4 across the dial ,fitted it mainly to increase spool up time rather than BHP gain. Overall the car is excellent, un-abused and has been maintained regardless. A small amount of cash to make this mint. In light of the points highlighted i think i am being realistic in asking for £1700 pounds for the car. Although this figure is negotiable, as they say money talks!! Mark, Sounds a beauty. Might be worth removing the MBC though - people prefer buying unmodded cars (well, modded by a specialist is usually OK but DIY fit MBC's etc can be a downside). Also, have you considered replacing the wheels with original Columbas or Perfos and then selling the wheels separately? Granted, the Titans will help the car sell, but probably won't increase the value of the car overall. By selling separately you'll probably realise more money overall. What you got now then? Another T5 or have you gone for something non Volvo? Good luck Andy

HI Andy, Thanks for the advice about the MBC will remove at the weekend(give a buyer an option). With regards the wheels they are only 12 months old and you reminded me that the lad i bought the car off gave me the origanal Columbas wheels(didnt know until i got home and opened the boot! Not bad four 16" alloys and tyres in the boot of a saloon, god Volvos are good!!!). Anyway they are pretty rough, bad kerbing/flaking paint but the tyres are practically new Michelins or Good years i think. So i will be leaving the Titans on and throw the Columbas' in the deal(the garage has got a set of VW Bora alloys in already). Am looking for a nice V70 preferbly an 'R' but i have been offered an Octavia Vrs cheap as chips. Need to do a deal within the next week really. Anyway thanks for the advice. Cheers Mark.
