Not convinced maybe the colour isnt helping much
Looks more 2.0D to me i'm afraid.
The ride height looks a bit high to be a genuine car ?
Thats not an R surely. It hasn't got any r features whatsoever!!! The T5 looks a hell of alot sportier than that car pictured.

That is a standard S40 - possibly 2.4/2.0D not the S40R. :slap:

At least he admitted to it being a fake! Its a standard T5 SE with the R badge on the grille, unfortunately Volvo has no plans to build an R S40 but something similar may appear in the new C70!

Yeah they were meant to be making one but because of the losses that the S60 R has been making in profit in Europe the idea was canned, it would be a profitable car for the US but thats it so may not ever happen, could be a last of the line model before its replaced though like most manufacturers do, its certainly possible to make but no plans as of yet. C30 will be having the 260bhp T5 engine so it may either get that or possibly more with AWD later on, theirs alot of rumours of a fast new C70 coming out but people sort of avoid the conversation when it comes up!

They do only tell us what they want us to know, down at daventry next week so may try and dig out some more info whilst im their, hopefully they will have a functioning RHD C70 about.
theyre not due till march mate. i think the ones here now are preproduction again. AND will get crushed :slap: were you on the sales apprentice's course when the dude sort of broke his s40D and got sacked??
