Hey folks, Long time since I posted on here, hope you're all well! This is my S60R I've had now for around 12 months, formerly of Sponge & st etienne - some of you may remember? Great car thanks to the work the previous owners did previously on this. I've used it as a daily driver whilst the old V70R is having a long period on SORN :nut: Image Image Image I'll try get some more details of what I've been up to with it soon, and some better pictures :shifty:

Recently finished a chassis / suspension overhaul. Originally went with OEM springs, but had a farce with Volvo as the new rear springs (right) were almost 1.5 inches longer than the originals (centre). Springs didn't seat correctly and the ride height was even higher than standard - explain that!! Image Image Ended up doing all the work again with Eibachs (left). At least these were the correct coil length!!

All links & bushes done at same time, along with new OEM front ARB and IPD rear set up (ARB, camber bushes and toe bars). Image Image Image Image

Now finally I've got it aligned correctly for fast road. Makes such a difference when you've put those Eibach lowering springs on!! Image Image

Still looks shiny, I spent a couple of weekends machine polishing it prior to sale.

Great stuff. A word of warning tho. Those IPD bolts for the rear ARB are imperial and bigger in diameter than the OEM bolts. With time and road salts they will corrode and fuse into the Aluminium subframe and become impossible to remove.....trust me I’ve been through it! Swap em out....it took me 8 hours.

Great to see it's still getting looked after. :B_thumb::B_thumb:

As if they don't provide the correct size

That's a good heads up, why the hell use imperial bolts on a Euro car.
