Sadly for me the time is close that I will be disposing of all my cars. The ******* D5 went last week for parts (good riddance to a POS) but my two dearly loved T5's I hope to find homes for. The C70 is currently in a garage in Torquay needs a new steering rack (which I have and will be recon'd) handbrake and a new windscreen will see that through its MOT The V70 I rebuilt the front end, New wishbones, bushes, wheel bearings, tie rods, and steering ball joints. New alternator and Turbo 2 years ago new rear discs and shoes all round. I have hammered this old girl and she never faltered! I had to rent an extremely rip off garage to do the work on the V70 -Sadly I couldnt continue renting the garage due to money. So as I no longer have anywhere to work on my cars thats it for my days lying on my back under Volvos in a freezing garage :(( I am trying to scrape together some cash to buy either a V50 D5 R type or a C30 T5 that DONT require me getting UNDER them! So I'm not quiting Volvo only the stuff I love doing - the greasy bits. Age and arthritis is slowly wrecking my hands and an engineer without hands is as much use as cardboard spanner! XD Thanks to all of you who have helped me over the years - I'll still be around and I'll post pix of the new car IF I can afford one! For now its plodding on with my trusty Smart car lol.

Man thats a sad story and one i can relate to. Progress is rapidly getting slower here due to aches and pains, cant lift an engine any more, need a longer torque bar, stronger glasses, better lighting and heated socket set.... Etc Lol hope you find what you seek and enjoy it regardless. WOZ

It's definitely a pain when you don't have a decent comfortable space for working on and fiddling with your car(s), especially as we get a bit older... I recently swapped from 850 T5 to a C30 T5 and have to say it's a much better car than I expected, worth holding out for a phase 2 version in R-Design if you can stretch to it. Keep us posted! Here's the change I made: http://www.vpcuk.org/forums/showthread.php?64366-Back-to-the-Volvo-fold-with-a-new(er)-T5&highlight=

The good old V70 is getting a bit big for me. I have driven V70's for probably the last 20 years they did me proud!
