have not been on for a while car has been running a treat blowing away alfas and bmw,s and the abs light went out andhas not come on again in 3500miles. on the way home tonight another dash light came on funny looking thing had no idea what it was until i looked in the handbook it say,s fault in engine electronic system [bloody bright and anoying] the car is still runing brill, how do i get shot of the light without taking it to a garage [it can wait until after xmas and i have some cash to spare] any help will be great, happy xmas all.

Hi mate welcome back You may have a vacuum leak or could be anything, you really need to get the codes read to find out for sure..... There is ways of putting the light off, a disconnect the battery for an hour and that does it for me, just make sure you have radio code before doing this tho If your car has a fault the light will come back on again so you might just have to suffer it

Stick some Black tape over it.....!! lol, Twill do till after Crimbo.
