Hi Folks I dont know if this is the right place to ask for help but I have a major problem. My C70 is currently in my girlfriends garage in Torquay whilst I do jobs to get it through the MOT, I can no longer keep it there so, I need to get it back to Wokingham! I dont trust my V70 estate to tow her (the car NOT the GF!) AND a transporter trailer as she has minor issues, but COULD leave me on the motorway with TWO dead cars! I also think the combined weight is over the GVW for the car which is 1600Kg. DOES ANYONE have a beaver-tail, low-loader, flatbed recovery vehicle or a way of moving the car please. I will pay all costs, fuel, time etc. I cant use a dolly or a spec lift as the car is fully roadworthy apart from the MOT so cant be moved that way on an 'O' licenced recovery truck with the rear wheels on the road. OR can anyone recommend a trustworthy transport contractor please - THIS IS URGENT as I believe my car to be at risk of being damaged or destroyed. Thank you my friends - very worried!
