Hi all Just bought a 1997 V70 T5 SE, pick it up Monday and can't wait. One owner from new 78000 miles. It has a cassette player with CD changer in boot, I would like a modern system with Bluetooth and USB but would rather not make any modifications as I'd like to be able to put original back in. Any recommendations Rob

They'll take a double din head unit with very gentle persuasion. The world's your oyster then. (middle runner sometimes needs filing down) Think you can then get a surround to make up the gap as the DD units are slightly smaller. ISO wiring harnesses are readily available. Do a quick bit of googling and compare your existing setup to see if your system has the built in amp somewhere, as this can complicate things a little.

If you take your Registration Number to a main dealer service desk, they can look on their system and Identify exactly what stereo system, speakers and amplifier package you car has fitted. As Doingitsideways says, trying to marry an aftermarket HU to a car that has Amps already installed, for example; under the seats, will make it a total PITA. You need to know exactly what your car has fitted, before you can decide on a HU that is compatible.
