Well just got a water filter for the hose pipe , so no more water marks after washing the car :D Was £100 all in pre filled with the filter stuff inside , works out a £45 to renew the filter contents. Good sales pitch to the boss also good to clean the house windows without marks :B_thumb: Image Also got a small bore hose pipe so won't waste filter water when finished. Also got this TDS meter of eBay for £4 The house water is quite good looking at this meter. Image With this low reading the water filter should last a fair bit longer than a real hard water area.

Cool. I just got hold of a monster water softener/filter thingy (brand new in the box for free :) ), all I need to do is work out how I'm gonna get it fitted (technically easy but the mains water comes in somewhere silly)
