A Northerner comes South to Plymouth on Wednesday morning, stopping in Buckfastleigh Tuesday night. Anyone around for a mini-meet?

I'll be up for meeting

I'm travelling over from Bournemouth on the Tuesday with various customer visits on the way. Finishing in Torquay so I should be in Buckfastleigh for 5-5.30pm.

If you want to suggest somewhere then please do. I'm stopping at The Furzeleigh Mill I think it's called, but want to get out of my suit as I'll have been in it all day.
Mark, daddy hole or gallows gate are good places gallows gate is the easiest to find out of the two in torbay
OK, my car is washed for the trip but not sure what state she'll be in by Tue evening. As long as it's not too far for me then either will be OK as I don't want to be driving too far after the trip down. Have you got some details about the Gallows Gate place please?
I live nearer Torbay just which volvo do I bring mate lol
If nobody had replied to this thread, then I coming down in my Alfa but that would be rude to turn up to a Volvo meet in that. Could have also used my C70 T5, but need the space of the V70 for this trip, and the V70 needs using.

Good to meet you Tuesday evening Harvey and your car was I expected, an absolute beaut. Now back Home and 944 miles done in my R this week.

Post 802897 by Harvey on 2016-07-07 22:24:05

Was good to meet you Mark , it's always nice to put a face to a name, hope you enjoyed the sunshine down south. Did your motor behave itself all the way home. Bit of a shame the place was full of rotary club members and their cars , never seen it that full ever..

Post 802898 by foammanmark on 2016-07-07 22:27:16

Yeah, I was hoping to get our cars side by side for some pics, but that went out of the window. Car ran awesomely except for the lambda light coming on but performance not affected whatsoever. Good visit to the guys in Plymouth and hopefully a regular occurrence now.............

The car hasn't moved since the Dorset/Devon trip, but I'm off work this coming week so the dog cage is already in there and seaside trips planned. Should see decent usage this week.
Heading back down south Mark?
Just the local Fylde coast and up Lancaster way tbh. Keeping the miles down after 3 recent Southern trips..............
