I've picked up one of these locally and knowing nothing about them, I'm just curious as to what I should be looking out for on her - what are the common faults/areas?

Make sure the cambelt is done as getting parts for these can be a nightmare as they are quite rare. I had a mechanic friend who had the belt snap on his 16V and it took him a while to source all the parts (needed new valves, etc) Other than that I can't think of anything else but I'm sure there is more (looked after my dads 740 for a few years and had a couple of 940s myself).
