heres a thread for you... Its new stuff http://performancedirect.potn.co.uk/c2918_3422_3800_5955.htm you might want to consider at least! 310mm if you wanna see a real visual differance. a 300mm/22 kit is £445 pounds (2x discs 2x brackets, nut n bits n bobs) a 310mm/28 kit is £485 pounds (same) ed

So why would anyone buy the 300s? to fit behind 16"s?

i know, for extra 40 pounds. but if ya wheel diameter is too small or what ever, then i guess they are only supplyin choice.

if ya look on the link i put on previously, there is a option for 325mm discs..you gota call for a price, BUT, either way they are gonna HALF the price of the excellent AP racing 325mm kit!, then what you could do is get top quality paint for your origanal calipers and paint them to look like the AP or whatever!..so you could then have a AP looky likey!! (I KNOW this might be going over your intial budget..but you only buy a complete set of front brakes once..do you see what i mean??) :) ed

See if you can find a friendly Volvo Main agent who'll take the old brackets as exchange then the price is not too bad for genuine bits. GSF will do exchange Calipers for £65 you could paint up before you fit, and they list plain 302mm discs. Remember you'll need different hoses too (Goodridge do a C70 kit that's suitable)
