You will need to visit a tuner who can decode your ECU before they can remap it. You cannot use the "softloader" tools on your model until it has been decoded.
Yeah was thinking about possibly going to Doncaster branch as I believe is the closest to me. They say they can ramp it from 185 to 253. Yet have mentioned nothing about any other mods needed.
You will NEVER reach 253 without other mods.
Small bit of research and small print reveals that a hybrid turbo is required. As I said on another post, if you are already at 214 then you are pretty much at your standard turbos limit. Also any more and a stronger clutch is required so factor that into your budget. I think Don at kalmar has the mte map for these which will do 220 I believe, but if you already have 214 that's an expensive extra 6 ponies.
Yeah think I might just go for a top remap if I get dpf sorted see if I can eak a few more out of it
Check before you drive that they can do it. Both Rica and BSR claimed they could do my last car. Both ended up wanting me to take the car to their headquarters. Holland and Sweden respectfully. As I have said before give Shark a call and see what they can do. Final advise is stop chasing the HP and concentrate on the torque.

MTE or Shark. Wouldn't let RICA loose on any of my cars again; stupid throttle mapping, much wheel spin and very little up top. MTE V RICA on my 163 D5, less quoted bhp by a couple but VERY progressive and nice to drive. RICA ate DMF's for breakfast and had intercoolers for lunch.
