Dear all,
I am considering a C70 (around 2006 based on budget) T5. I really want the works when it comes to the audio system as I have been impressed with the high end Volvo systems in the past (my last C70 T5 GT)... and far less than impressed with the bog standard in our new XC60.
Obviously I'll check with any seller what system is in before I go travelling to view, but is there an easy way to tell based on the pics? Not all descriptions give all the detail.
I had assumed that if I see a center speaker then I'm looking at a pro-logic system and therefore premium, but there is one here which has the center speaker but states 8 speakers and 'high performance'.
Apologies if I have answered my own question.

The top end stereo has the dynaudio sticker on the centre dash grill. Oh how I miss it.
If I was you I would hold out for an 08 model they had a different centre counsel that looked better, and the T5 had a tad more hp 10 iirc

Thanks for the advice. An '08 is probably out of budget unfortunately. Planning £4500 max which looks easily possible on around an '06.
Worth looking around I guess though. Don't want massive mileage.
On comparing a few it looks like the '06 and '08 have both have the newer center console to me?
Thought the badge on the Center speaker in the above ad was a Dynaudio, that is what confused me.

Not a lot of money for what is a nice car, test drive the T5 first, I was never impressed with the performance they really need a map. Its the hand brake area that's different, it's not that different tbh

I always think I'll be tempted with a map then don't bother when other bills come along. If I buy one of these, then it is as an interim car. Selling my M5, banking some of the cash then will buy something more fun in a few years time.

The easiest way to actually confirm and not take the sellers view (He or she may not really know) is to pop into your local Dealer with the Registration number and ask them to check on Volvo's website. They will be able to tell you ALL the spec from there including what type of headunit is fitted, type of speakers and how many.

Sensible advice. If I find one I'm keen on ill do that.
