I've spent the day today with a Volvo 850 btcc guru, a couple of facts I didn't know, 1: the steering rack is at the front of the engine, 2: the diff is at the front under the starter motor, 3:because the engine is so far back and the steering rack is at the front, it means the brake calipers are at the back of the disks and not the front, so it should be easy st spot a real ex touring car by looking at the caliper location :) I'm hoping he signs up to vpc tonight :)

I can get hold of one of those huge carbon intake scoops if anyone would be interested. Belongs to an old twr engineer that liked to hoard parts back in the day!

Put it on the tdi mate, it'll take even longer to get up to temperature though
