First decent drive in s60 d5.

Just got back after a 4 day break in Lake district. Took the volvo S60 d5 and am amazed with fuel economy . Filled it up and got an amazing 960 miles to a tank. Is that normal miles to tank? Best buy ever ☺

They certainly do perform well on a good run....mines the Geartronic and I'll get 850+miles to a full tank when at cruising speed.

At best my V70 2.4d(163) 6 speed manual gave me 45mpg, so whatever that equates to per tank on really good steady journeys.

This one is a 163bhp manual. but it's been remapped before I got it. Says on display it's doing 57.9 mpg.

As always, it depends on what type of driving your doing. I reckon i get about 350-400 miles to a tank out of my s60 2.0t petrol, with normal weekly driving. Yet when i went north devon in the summer, i got from Leicester to Ilfracombe on a third of a tank, that would work out at about 600 miles to a tank.
