Chaps -
The fuel tank protector plate (at rear of tank) on my v70R is looking in pretty bad shape, as are the straps. I've got a set of new straps and wondering if i can just removal the plate and not bother with it - looks like this:
its about 40 quid to buy from volvo and want to do straps this weekend if I don't need to order.
