Now back with Gopro netherlands getting fixed. I've got say I prefer the Nextbase camera for in-car stuff, for me it's easier to set up & ignore...whereas the Gopro needs fiddling with. Great for short bursts of action though
I've got the SJCam M10 which is the square version and I think it's great for the cost.

I like the GPS & g-sensor functions....and night time recording seems better than the Hero 3, so that is my not expert comparison anyway The Nextbase I got after a Which magazine review, which put the Hero 3 in 2nd place after the 402G http://www.which.co.uk/reviews/dash-cams/article/best-dash-cams-of-2015

We normally have 5 on JT's car when he's racing tho lol
yeh, i swear by the self-adhesive 3M mounts GoPro supply. I've never plucked up enough courage to try a suction mount tbh
fine up to 100 mph..apparently!

i've seen people use them to stick onto plane wings, but its alot of money to throw away if it does come off. I've got a triple suction mount, but still not tried it lol

Sun advisor? LOL

looks like you could swing off those!!
looks like you could swing off those!!
i did try pulling it off the wardrobe door, but was pulling the wardrobe over instead lol
If you tether a paracord from the rear of the car to the mount then you'll have your safety net, should the suction mount fail. 3mm cord has a breaking strain of about 180KG

Plus if it does come loose the idea of it swinging around & hitting the car doesn't appeal either
If sooner DA out a few minor scuffs than risk loosing a £300 camera!
i'll stick to my fixed mounts
