A replacement set of Zurak alloys for my V50. It is nice out there plus the added bonus of finding a campsite which I've been looking for, for the last 20yrs. Successful day

Sometimes I go the Bridgnorth way on I think the A458, and that is an awesome drive. Next time you're over there I'd recommend trying that route although further.

I wished I had today, the M6 was rubbish past Walsall. I know the Bridgnorth route very well, it was my area when I worked for Kenco. Overall including the hold up at Walsall, it wasn't a bad trip to be honest.

Never crossed my mind. I was on a mission to get back to the wheel refurb company before they closed. They'll have my wheels ready for Friday

Nice to meet you Alan, good to here the refurb is underway, not that they were to bad for a 5-6 year old set of wheels, they are a nice looking wheel imho and far less common than the 'r' design ones, looking forward to seeing the picture of them on your car shortly.

The silver didn't match my wheels so I've bitten the bullet and got em recoated for all the good it'll do. Worth it though, cheers matey

Did they do them in 2 different shades then ?, as the only other owner of the car was a retired postie and I can't see he'd would have changed the colour on his brand new car, which he kept for 3 years before we got it , when he chopped it in for a new one. Thinking back the dealer did touch in 2 of the wheels as there was a couple of curb rashes that I wasn't excepting on the purchase of the car, so they may have sprayed all 4 if the colour didn't match the original colour, but this would seem like too much effort for the dealer to do 2 more wheel than they needed too.

No, the rims on my motor are lighter, I suspect they've been recoated at some point. No probs though, they'll look good once they're done. They'll contrast nicely with the purple paintwork I suspect (hope)
Looking great there Alan, glad they found a good home as there no good to me really, did the refurb cost much per wheel as they look fantastic...??
£85 per rim with my tyres transferred and balanced. Ok, financial kicking but judging by the state of the old wheels it's money well spent. I'm pleased with em for sure.

Cheers matey, my lockers are tight enough to hold but not enough to be hard to remove. I'm considering getting rid but I don't want to lose my new wheels.

Cheers matey, it's put a bit of life back in the motor now. I'm going to sort out the bast rim out of the old set and bin the rest. Let's see how long they stay unmarked
