Back when I had the fakeR (sigh :() it had washer jets that sprayed a fan of water instead of just a jet.
Does anyone know which model they came from? I presume a modern car.
Any ideas if they fit my s40 or will I have to bugger about making holes bigger?
Looking for cheap effective mods. :)

I've got them on my V they're from a later C70 but you can buy them from pfv. http://www.partsforvolvosonline.com/product_info.php?cPath=519_547_549&products_id=3187
Don't know if they'd fit your S40 though mate

If I measure my jets do you mind measuring your c70 ones please?
I reckon it wouldn't be a big job so willing to try it.
Mark my saab didn't have them, just 3 dual jets. I thought mine was newer.

They were fitted to ME7 P1s, fitted some to my pre ME7 C70 having had them on our ME7 S70, so much better. FYI, got some P2 jets for the C70 first, they don't fit, so stick with ME7 P1 ones.

Just keep a big jug in the car, they never get blocked or frozen lol

I'm wondering if the p2 ones will fit if the phase 2 p1's don't.
Kg I had a Volvic bottle when my pump didn't work on the bullion.
3 points for that you know, driving without due care.
I didn't get any though. :)

Biff what measurements do you want mate ill do it this afternoon for you? The clips that hold mine into the bonnet have broken so I'm going to be getting a new set in a few weeks, your more than welcome to have the broken ones to trial fit before you spend money on them.

I fitted them to early V70.
The irony here is that I got them from a later V40 at the local scrappy.

Sounding like they will fit or be somewhere near.
Thanks boys that's a great help.
500tie that would be great, cheers mate!
I'll post my findings should anyone else fancy doing it.
Excited by washer jets..
Sometimes it's the simple things. :)

Right mate the hole that the washer clips into is of a slight oval shape in the bonnet, measuring straight across at the widest point it is approx 12mm. I haven't bothered measuring the bit that sticks on top of the bonnet as that bit doesn't matter. As I said before your more than welcome to my broken ones to trial fit before you buy some once I'm back home in a couple of weeks.

I think they'd work well on my S70.

They are a lot better. The fluid lasted a good while even with my cracked bottle.

I do miss the fan-jet washers I had on my P2. The P3 has the jets but I suspect that's probably to do with the fact they're heated.
