Hey
so I just fitted a full leather interior in my V70 T5 2006, and now I have my old interior, seats and door cards just sitting in my garage..... What to do...
I want to make the seats into some gaming seats, has anyone else done anything similar?
I was thinking about building a base and then just mounting the seats on them...
Cheers
Sanj

also planning this for the man cave. I'll make up a simple frame to bolt them onto with a small gap between to fit a small table kind of thing to put the beers on.

I'm just going to use inch box and clad it in some kind of ally or chequer board

I used to make these for side line, I've made 400-500 office chair and a few sofas.
I did some at Virgin and capital fm and quite a lot in Canary Wharf and a few company offices complete, actually did the special effects company that did the cadburys adverts with the airships in the sky
I used predominantly Alfa seats and some electrically adjust and even heated.
Box won't look brilliant but I used tube and tig'd it but you can use scaffold handrail and key clamps looks good

Without sounding too fussy what's the spec mate & where are you located?
I work as a quality engineer for an optics company so glass dust gets everywhere! Ideally I need leather so it wipes clean (oooh-er missus) ;)
