The exhaust on my 850 won't seal properly at the back and i expect its the paste I'm using. Can anyone recommend a product thats good for sealing slip-couplings? Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

Firegum is pretty good. It's a fibre type. Best thing to do is to wire brush the surfaces to ensure a decent seal.
i use high temp silicone for my cars and motorbikes never have a problem
