I have just cut off the rear silencer from my T5 as it has disintegrated! [ATTACH=CONFIG]29126[/ATTACH]
The car sounds lovely with it off but on the motorway its like 10 Howitzers going off so looking for a straight on replacement that will bolt on and muffle it SLIGHTLY and look a bit better poking out the back :biggrin:
Any suggestions please, something like a cherry bomb sound or similar pel-ease
(just spotted a Jetex system but its £600 simoleans) eeeek :c

I'm assuming you have a P1, from your avatar. I have the old one off my C70 you can have, if you have a S or V70 it may not go straight on as I think they're longer at the back, but it has a (rusty) clamp at the back, so it may be extendable. You'll need one of these as I had to cut the hanger off to get it out.

Cheers Stribo ahhh. Ive actually got a P1 and P2 and its the V70 estate that needs the box. I had a look under the C70 and its like yours. Otherwise I would have been down to B'stoke to grab it! Mind you I wonder with a bit of welding if that can be converted to fit the estate?

That doesn't help!! Which is it? The P1 V70 or the P2 V70?
