Hey Folks..
Got my hands on a 2004 V70 T5 Ex-Police yesterday and the car defo didn't feel like 260bhp!
Put a Boost Gauge in... No Boost.
Started checking Vac Lines, Took intake pipe off to check for turbo play... Seized Solid! :o :(
Not Good... Amazing there was no smoke and no noises. etc
Got it off, what a nightmare!
No obvious signs either of the wheels have been touching the housing..
Now...
What I need to try and find out is what turbocharger I have here and where the best place to get a replacement or rebuild done is!
The Volvo Plaque Says the following:
K Germany - Volvo
Cust No. 30650636
Serial No. GH50068703 00136
Part No. 5324 970 7401
Anyone help me out here?

If you've got a facelift model it'll be a KKK K24, if not it'll be a Mitsubishi TD04HL16T.

Hey Stribo... Is there an easy way to tell... The turbo says K Germany on it.... So I would presume K24...
K24 a good turbo on one of these cars to have?

I have a k24 sitting on the workshop self, not seized and feels pretty good with very little play if any.

I`ve googled the part number :- Part No. 5324 970 7401
And it says its a K24
