Think one of our cats has a broken leg....:(. Waiting for OH to get dressed and off to the vets in a minute. Tax run out yesterday and the bloody DVLA website is down atm. What a joke? Will let you know when I get back

Thanks ladies and gents. Just came back from the vets. Luckinly, it is just a very bad sprain and not broken. Silly cat was positioning his paw at a slight angle and that is why I thought it might have been broken..... Anyway, he is resting now after some painkillers and everything will go back to normal. PS. His name is Dennis, as in Dennis the Menace, but with a heart of gold

£18, including the Loxicom painkiller bottle....:). Which is bloody cheap for out of hours vets. All of my cats are rescued, so I take them to Celia Hammond Animal Trust, which is a charity. They have helped me enormously in the past and I try to help when and where I can.
Thats not bad Gatos , I get charged £85 every time we take Coco anywhere near the robbing barsteward posing as a vet near us. Happy daze it wasnt broken.
Not bad at all, dont mind paying vets fees really as my dog is my pal.

Agreed. I make donations too to the place I take my cat, as I know that every single penny goes to the animals and to some fat cats pocket or for admin costs

I have given to kids charities also but got to admit I give more to animal stuff, maybe cos I have the impression they are less in focus than us hoomans! http://www.cats.org.uk/ Our lass loves a stray cat or two (or 8 puppies on one occasion).
