A chap walked past me pushing a oxy-acetylene kit on a sack barrow....without any chains to secure the cylinders....so I stopped him and said hey pal, do you know what happens if you stop sharp and one of those falls over...

The type of explosion in the above video is called a BLEVE. Probably a fire was involved here to kick it all off, still, careful with those cylinders chaps...

I love the Mark, and Lard thread title, their program was the best thing on Radio 1 back in the day, I even have a Shirehorse CD. :D

I miss mark & lard. They were ace.
We used to set off accetalyne bombs quite often, you can put windows out easily.
We once filled a bag Chinese lantern style & sent it up...
Few days later it was all over the local rag all about ufo sightings.. Whoops.
