Quick one, do b230's usually have a tensioner on the alternator belt? Mines had the aircon removed and the belt is starting to squeak a bit just wondering if there is normally a tensioner and if it has been removed with aircon etc
The tensioner is built into the support bracket underneath the alternator. If you look at the end of the bracket you'll see a 10mm headed bolt which is the adjustment You have to loosen the bracket bolts and then screw in the bolt at the end of the bracket to tighten the belt. This should be similar for the aircon pump too.
