Having pondered over the past few months on whether to get a new, decent, bike or not i took the plunge and ordered this via work's cycle to work scheme.
Cube LTD PRO 29er in "Spicy Yellow 'n' Blue"
Really impressed with it so far!
I bought a hybrid bike to cycle the 4miles to work and back. I can safely say that I've used it only a few times so far and only out of necessity. I did cycle 15miles to pick up the green V70 I had for a while.
You picked a great time of year to start riding to work :) Do they provide some kind of snow tyre too? :P I too would like to start biking to work, problem is there isn't enough time when I get to work to get showered/changed (because I would deffo need to LOL) and I live on a steep hill so that makes the ride home a challenge
Wow I wish my work would pay me for a bike to get in! Sadly though I fear working all over it wouldnt get used.
I have a Trek 6500SLR looks a bit like this...old but does me just fine!

the 29" wheel mountain bike is immense.especially over rough ground.....got the Cube Analogue 29er ( thru work cyclé to work 2 ) ...it makes mincemeat of journeys compared to the old 26" wheels...[SIZE=3][/SIZE]

I've only riden it a little since yesterday but can notice the difference. Easier to get speed up.

My work doesnt pay for it as such, it comes out of my wages pre tax so i save £332 in total.

I've got some waterproofs to keep me dry in the snow/rain/etc... and work have now kindly provided a drying room for peoples outerwear.

So easy to get up to speed though[/QUOTE] I've the same problem with the b17 I've been thinking of getting a hard trial front suspension only but don't know it would be good if I could up grade the original suspension on the marin tho as ide have to spend a fair bit to get same quality bike
