Hi all, First post so please bear with me! Thouhgt I'd start with a question. Thinking about getting a V40 R-Design T5 as a replacment for my evo - something a bit more civilised and frugal. ;-) 4WD is a must for me in this and I know the pre-facelist V40 T5 2.5 R-Design is, but can't figure out if the newer 2.0 Drive-E model still is... Can anyone answer the question for me please (without me having to go and se a dealer and endure the sales patter)? Thanks very much in advance, Toby.

Firstly, welcome to the forum! According to Parkers, the only AWD V40 is the Cross Country version.

Hi Dave, Thanks for the welcome and very much for the info! I don't know how I'd managed to convince myself (wrongly) that you could get a non-Cross Country in AWD - maybe just wishful thinking... :cussing: Does anyone have a V40 cross country T5 awd - I'm still interested in one so woud greatly appreciate any real world input from owners please? Thnaks, Toby

I drive the v70r same engine and box and it's awesome as a daily car. I have no plans to change it until polestars drop in price and then I'll just keep it as a spare.
