T5r / 850r register

Here's the info of what's left I've seen come up forsale.
It's gathered from forsale adverts or people's request to be added. I know of several cars that could go on the register on the forum.
If you wish to be added please pm me details and preferably a picture.
I have 228 of the 328 remaining cars on the road (70% ish).
Obviously there will be cars in storage but this is too unreliable to add, unless im asked too.

Are people pm'ing you with details of vehicles that may not be on your list/database mate ???
Post 737972 by Ettienne on 2014-09-29 11:53:42
Yes they are (pm-ing) I have the reg numbers and each car gets it's own folder, so I can keep track. Just prefer to update table every so often.
Post 737973 by Ettienne on 2014-09-29 11:58:04
I should point out, it is possible sometimes to trace a car.
I have done this in the past for a few people, as most sales go through eBay or other adverts, I have contacted sellers to put people in touch with cars.
Also some have a fascinating history. E.g moles and another was used in a bank robbery lol

Thanks James, I've seen that before but it's a little out of date and a lot of the cars I have.
Some cars I have 4 or 5 sales for in quick succession. I do delete broken cars, but they stay on the register.
I know from experience it took dvla 2 years to acknowledge the decommissioning of a couple of the previous cars I broke, hence I only use (or try to) sale info, as how many left might have lots that don't exist anymore, but some are in storage obviously.
But i'm getting there 229 out of 328 taxed.
Post 737988 by cherry1809 on 2014-09-29 13:23:25
As far as I know, there is only 1 854r and 2, maybe 3 estates left of the white cars.
Post 738000 by Ettienne on 2014-09-29 15:12:50
I know of 3 estates and 1 saloon in white, but only add them once I see them forsale or owner contacts me.

It was closed, due to improper authorisation for collecting personal information, from forum users.
Not a dig at anyone, just management safe guarding users.
But people can always contact me via voc or vt, it's coming along nicely though getting there.

Yep good to know that they're looking out for us, but do think this one is a little over thought on their part, but it's good to now you have plenty of ways for collecting the info for the register, have you got my green one on there?? or do you need some details, as I guess you have all you need on the Gul.

Very funny, but no it's still going strong 250k miles plus.
Can check the tax status of cars on dvla, and if broken it says we don't have a record of that vehicle.

Post 738644 by Ettienne on 2014-10-01 20:25:42
What I would like is a teal saloon, not second rarest if looking as 850r as a whole, second rarest estate colour.
Surprisingly not many 855r in green, I would have thought a lot more.
But all these 850s are rare, when looking at things like cosworth's
Post 738646 by Ettienne on 2014-10-01 20:26:30
Interestingly there's is only 50 s60 t6s and 40 v60 t6s (approx) that did surprise me.
More v8s than t6s (s60/v60)
S60rs are going down as well quite quickly.

I owned this for a while, may or may not be on the list... however it was last seen with a broken rear axle somewhere near the source of the Nile. Probably safe to say it's long dead and buried now. :sorry:
Absolutely loved that car, it was the best one I've ever owned.
Now have this, it will more than likely be on the list as it was previously owned by Scott, aka the Flying Banana... if not, happy to PM some details.

They said they wanted it for a piece in the next series and given I really didn't want to sell it (ironically the reason to get rid was she was driving it daily and had marked the bumper and kerbed a wheel!) so, I offered to loan it to them and they went "Ehhhh, no... it's kinda going abroad" and I was like "It's so f**ked now!" But no, there was no indication of what it's fate was at the time. Sod it, she went down fighting. That said, I did leave the room when the bumper grounded out for the first time... it was a noise I had heard many a night as she parked /grounded it out on in the drive with all the grace and precision of a late night ram raid on PC World. Ho hum.
