1997 V70R http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Volvo_V70_2.3_1998/p/car-parts/car-service-parts/regular-service/brake-discs/?104660378&1&18d50dbed768baa7d13d63256d9491e53cd0302f&000027 I know it shows on there that they are 1998... but mine is an earlier R reg first registered in 97 not 98. I am asking as i had problems before where i was supplied with the wrong size and had to take them back but i cant remember what the correct size was LOL!

Afaik, no pre 2000 car came with 305mm disks.

yeah i think they may have put 305 instead of 302 on that. My understanding is there are 2 sizes, 280mm and 302mm ?

That's right. The easiest way to be sure is to pop the wheel off and measure the one you have.

will do buddy.. cheers. I just thought that all R's would have been the same size. I am sure now thinking about it they are 302's haha

I had a P2R 1999 and IIRC it had 302mm on the front. 280 was for the T5.

Your discs should be the same as fitted to my C70, which is these: http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Volvo_C70+Cabriolet%5ECoupe_2.3_1998/p/car-parts/brakes/brake-friction/brake-disc/?104660338&1&5e9d008a88e874545fe50d9aff7eacdb85e5c576&000027
